Getting To The Gadget Show Live 2016
The Gadget Show Live is held at the NEC in Birmingham, close to Birmingham International Airport. There are two mains ways of travel to get to the event:
Thinking of Driving to Gadget Show Live? You’ll need to come off the M42 at Junction 6 and follow the signs for The National Exhibition Centre. If driving then there are plenty of car parks to choose from. The following options are available to you:
- Express Parking – Pre book your parking and get a designated space close to the exhibition halls and avoid any queues at payment kiosks. Prices for express parking are £20 per day.
- Pre-Paid Parking – Pre book to park in the standard or disabled public car parks. Standard car parks are a little further away than express parking, but there is a regular shuttle bus that takes you right to the doors of the exhibition centre. Price is £12 per day.
- Standard Parking – The same as pre-paid parking, except you’ll have to pay at the kiosk once you’re there (so there may be a queue!). Price is £12 per day.
- Motorbike Parking – Motorbikes are free to park in standard car parks, or £20 per day in Express Parking.
Visit the NEC parking page for more information including how to pre-book your car parking.
Getting the train to Gadget Show Live? If so then you’ll want to make sure you get off at Birmingham International Station (this is also the train station for the airport). From there you can easily walk to the NEC or catch a regular bus if you prefer. Virgin Trains run a regular direct service to Birmingham International from the following stations:
- London Euston
- Milton Keynes Central
- Manchester Piccadilly
Other direct train services are also available. If travelling by train be sure to book your ticket well in advance to get the best possible price! If you are using a Virgin Trains service then click here to claim a 25% discount on travel to any NEC event.
