Here at iBeani, we are in awe of the fantastic work so many of our UK charities accomplish. The support, both financial and psychological has proved invaluable to so many people and their families…
One such charity that we totally admire is Help for Heroes! Ten years ago today, the Help for Heroes charity was started to provide better facilities and indeed support of British servicemen and women who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty. Founded by Bryn and Emma Parry, the charity goes from strength to strength, largely due to the continued support of the public.
A chance meeting between iBeani and Help for Heroes led to the charity asking iBeani if they would design an exclusive version for their online store, to tie in with their 10 year anniversary.
The answer was immediately yes. iBeani couldn’t be more happy and proud to be supporting this wonderful charity. And the product is ideally suited to assist those people who may struggle to support their tablet for any period of time due to their medical ailments.
Don’t just take our word for it! Mrs Edmunds from Shropshire recently contacted us to say how delighted she was with her new iBeani. She was bought it as a gift from her daughter and in Mrs Edmunds words “I have been struggling to hold and turn the pages on my Kindle, as one of my hands is severely affected by arthritis. The iBeani has given new life to my Kindle as I can now comfortably rest it on my knees. I’m so pleased with it, I’ve ordered another so I can keep one in my bedroom and read comfortably at night too!”
The Help for Heroes iBeani is available to purchase exclusively in the merchandising section of the H4H website.
Not only does it feature an exclusive Help for Heroes label on the pocket, but the fabric pattern was specifically designed to reflect the branding of Help for Heroes. Each red and pale aqua blue motif is actually a tiny version of the iconic service personnel carrying a wounded soldier on a stretcher board. The same iconic figurines were captured in a statue located at Tedworth House – the recovery centre in Wiltshire run by the charity!
Princes William and Harry opened the centre over four years ago on Monday 20th May 2013.
The Help for Heroes iBeani will be able to help injured service personnel in two ways – physically by offering support when holding and using a tablet and financially by raising money for this amazing charity.
As well as being suitable to hold a multitude of different sized tablets, the unique micro beads do not transfer heat so the iBeani can also be used as a more comfortable alternative to a tray, ideal for assisting to support hot drinks on your lap.
And with Remembrance Day just over a month away, what better time to support this associated cause!
Don’t delay, get yours today and support this fantastic charity!
