Here at iBeani 2015 was a fantastic year for us. We showcased our product range at several Christmas Markets across the country, our products made it into the National Gallery and we even got featured in one of the country’s biggest national newspapers – pretty impressive we think! To continue our excitement into 2016 we have a huge announcement that we would like to share with you all:
The iBeani tablet stand has made it on to the shortlist for the Home Accessories category in The Giftware Associations Gift of the Year Award for this year. Yes that’s right – Gift of the Year for 2016!
As you can imagine this is a huge honour and an exciting prospect for our iBeani tablet stands. The competition this year is fiercer than ever so to even be shortlisted alongside such a fantastic array of products is incredibly exciting for us a marks a huge step forwards for the iBeani product and brand. Gift Of The Year 2016 Judging Process:The judging process for the Gift Of The Year Award is a three stage process which is as follows:
- Stage One: Products and gifts are submitted to the Giftware Assosciation to be considered for the award shortlist. Approximately 10 products per category are then shortlisted as chosen by the industry expert judges.
- Stage Two: The judging panel will select the finalists for the Award on January 14th during a selection hearing at the Giftware Association headquarters in Birmingham. The judges will take in to account a wide range of criteria including design, usability, RRP, gift suitability and more. Each award category will have one outright winner and two highly commended runners up. One of the category winners will also be chosen as the overall Judges Choice Award.
- Stage Three: Trophies will be presented and the winners announced.
The Gift Of The Year judging panel is comprised of industry experts for many sectors of retail and giftware, including well known household names such as John Lewis, The National Gallery and Ocado. You can find out more about the judging panel here.
The final winners for the Giftware Association Gift Of The Year 2016 will be announced on Sunday 7th Februrary 2016 at the Spring Fair International, hosted at the NEC in Birmingham.
A Huge Year & Looking Forwards:As we mentioned before, 2015 was a huge year for iBeani and it’s all thanks to you, our wonderful and loyal customers. Thanks to you we’ve been able to continually expand the iBeani tablet stand range to now include 24 different product designs, including unique and funky designs like the Mexicana or Lime Green iBeani, classic designs such as our fashionable Grey Check tablet stand and even our unique Van Gogh & George Stubbs iBeani designs in partnership with the National Gallery.
